Senso-ji is the oldest Temple in Tokyo located in Asakusa. There’s a shopping street approaching the temple called the Nakamise-dori, you can find accessories, snacks and souvenirs on this street.
4. Takeshita Dori (Harajuku)
Takeshita Dori is a street in Harajuku that’s famous for its fashion shops and trends. If you’re looking for unique and cool fashion trends, this is the place to visit.
Odaiba is an artificial island in Tokyo. It is a great place for entertainment and shopping. One of the points of interest found here is the Rainbow Bridge.
Akihabara is known as the ‘Electric Town.’ A district famous for electronics, mangas, animes and maid cafes.
7. Meiji Shrine
The Meiji Shrine is an Imperial Shrine dedicated to Emperor Meiji and Empress Shoken. This shrine is located near the Harajuku station.
8. Tokyo Tower
Tokyo Tower has been a popular icon of Tokyo. It is considered as the second tallest structure in Japan after the Tokyo Skytree.
9. Tokyo Skytree
The Tokyo Skytree is the tallest structure in Japan and second tallest in the world. It was built in July 2008. Connected to the Skytree is the Tokyo Solamachi which is a shopping mall with over 300 stores.
10. Shinjuku Gyoen
Many consider the Shinjuku Gyoen National park as the most beautiful park in Tokyo. During spring time it is a popular place to see the cherry blossoms.
