It’s Friday! Happy weekend to everyone. Today’s photos are the French Macarons we bought from Brussels. While they might not be as good as LaDuree from France, they are still good. Aiko wanted to be on the last photo as this is her favorite food especially the strawberry Macaron.

A lot of people confuse French Macarons with Macaroons – Macaroons are also pastry but they are meringue cookies usually with coconuts. And Macarons are like little pastry sandwiches made from almond powder that comes in different colors usually with jam filling spread.
