Barcelona, the second largest city in Spain and the capital of the Catalonia region. This city is filled with vibrant art, cultural history, nightlife, beaches and great food. Each year, more than 7.5 million tourists visit Barcelona. It is also one of the most visited European city.

5 Must See Places in Barcelona:
1. Sagrada Familia
A trip to Barcelona is not complete without seeing the Sagrada Familia. This church was designed by the famous Spanish Architect Antoni Gaudi. Sagrada Familia is definitely one of its kind, a geometrical and Gothic style church. The construction started in 1882, and it is still in the works.
2. Gothic Quarter
The Gothic Quarter is located at the old city center of Barcelona. This is where you can find the Barcelona Cathedral, a Gothic cathedral built from the 13th to the 15th century.
3. Park Guell
Park Guell is a public park that was designed by Antoni Gaudi. This park shows Gaudi’s artistic style and designs. UNESCO has added this park to the World Heritage Site in 1984.
4. La Rambla
La Rambla is a 1.2 Kilometer street in the city center. Quite a busy street with markets, shops and cafes. Be alert for pickpockets in this area.
5. Casa Batllo
Casa Batllo is another Antoni Gaudi (really famous) design. This building was built in 1877, it definitely stands out because of its colorful mosaic and oval windows.

– Barceloneta beach: The most popular beach in the city, great place to relax, play and enjoy the sun.
– Montserrat: About 1 hour away drive from Barcelona. Many take a trip to Montserrat because of its beautiful mountain, scenery and monastery.
