Vienna, the largest and capital city of Austria.  This city has about 1.7 million people and it’s the 7th largest city in the European union.  Many call Vienna as the ‘City of Music’ because of its musical heritage – host to classical composers such as Mozart, Brahms, Beethoven and many others.  It’s no wonder visitors from all over the world visit this city to experience the culture of Vienna.

1.  Visit Haus der Musik

About:  Haus der Music is a museum for sound and music that opened in 2000.  It has six floors filled with different musical activities and exhibitions.

2.  See ‘The Kiss’ painting at Belvedere

About: Inside the beautiful Belvedere, there’s a legendary painting ‘The Kiss’ painted by Gustav Klimt between 1908 and 1909.  This painting is also known as ‘the most famous kiss in the world’.

3.  Take a stroll at the MuseumsQuartier

About:  The Museumsquartier is a cultural area in Vienna about 60,000 meter squared where you can relax, take a stroll, shop, try different restaurants and cafes.  My favorite thing in this area are the lounge seats, they have such cool shapes and great for relaxing.



4.  Try different chocolates at Heindl

About:  Heindl is a chocolate and pralines brand from Vienna, Austria.  It was founded in 1953 by Walter Heindl Sr. and his wife Maria.  There’s also a Heindl Chocolate museum located at the Southern suburbs of Vienna.

5.  Have an afternoon coffee break at Aida

About: Aida is a cafe shop in Vienna that started in 1913.  Now there are over 34 franchise outlets globally.  This cafe has a pink and dark brown theme.  A great place to have an afternoon coffee break.
