Caffe Bene in Myeongdong

One of the fastest growing coffee chain in Seoul, Caffe Bene has over 500+ outlets around South Korea.  The first time I have ever visited one was in 2010 while I was looking for wifi, and a friend of mine told me that this cafe provided a free wifi.  The atmosphere in this cafe can be described as a cabin-nature theme, simple yet chic.

During those cold winter nights in Seoul, this place is a great cafe to be.  They offer so many wonderful warm drinks and yummy treats as well.  My favorite food I have try was the Cheese waffle!

Though the prices are a bit quite high, about 5000 Won for a latte ($5 USD) they are totally worth it.  A snack and a drink can cost roughly about $10 USD.  I do enjoy sitting at the cafe and just reading and surfing the internet.

Bingsoo for Winter lol

Yes, it was a very cold winter night when I visited but I still ordered a bingsoo (shaved ice with ice cream, red bean and fruits).  But what’s the point of going all the way to Korea if I didn’t get Bingsoo?!  I totally love their bingsoo, and would like to eat this again when I go back (on a warmer weather).

Caffe Bene is everywhere in Seoul – Myeongdong, Gangnam, etc.  but this particular one that I posted is in Myeongdong inside one of the shopping malls across the Lotte Plaza.

I highly recommend this place if you’re looking somewhere to enjoy some drinks and have a fun time chatting with friends (And free wifi!).
