Chez Karine Bakery in Serendra

The cute little Chez Karine Boxes

While walking around the Serendra shopping area, I found this cute little bakery shop called Chez Karine.  What caught my attention was their French macarons, which were definitely hard to find in the Philippines.  I also love the simple yet cute designs they had on their boxes and the logo of their store.  I must admit that I didn’t get a chance to try out their macarons, but on my next visit I will surely go here and get them.  If you’re wondering how much a macaron cost, its about $1.25 USD.  French macarons are indeed pricey no matter where you get them even in the Philippines.  Why?  These little pastries are probably one of the most difficult to bake (I haven’t even dared to try making them).  Chez Karine Bakery is also famous for their puddings, which I have yet to try.
