Comics cafe, a cafe-restaurant located in the historical center of Brussels at the Place du Grand Sablon. This cafe has a comics-theme which features original sketches, paintings, figurines and lithographs of comics from around the world. The food in this restaurant includes burgers, pastas, salads, pastries and Belgian cuisines. Also, the restaurant is divided into different sections, and it can accommodate up to 200 guests.
It takes about a 10 minute walk away from the Grand Place to visit this restaurant. You can easily spot the restaurant once you’re nearby because of its vibrant comic theme. If you plan to visit this restaurant, I would suggest getting a map from the Grand Place and printing the Comic walk (from #25 visitbrussels.be).

When you enter the Comics cafe, there’s a lane you follow that takes you to the stairs. The restaurant is in the upper level. I got to the restaurant past lunch time around 15:00, there were some people but it was not too crowded. I was planning on getting the Obelix burger, but I didn’t get it since I was by myself. I couldn’t possibly finish a gigantic burger, 400 grams of meat and everything doubled. I ended up getting the Tortellini with goat cheese. I must say that it was indeed delicious, maybe the best one I have had so far.
My verdict: The price is in the mid-range, not too overly expensive around 12-26 Euros per entry. The food I got was served perfectly, it was freshly cooked and it was well presented. The staffs were very friendly.
The only problem I have is that, its a bit of a walk away from the central. But if you don’t mind walking 10-15 minutes extra then, it would be a cool restaurant to visit.
