A Day trip to Disneyland Theme Park

Trip to Disneyland

Welcome to ‘The Happiest Place on Earth’.  Disneyland theme park was built on 17 July 1955, and it is the original park located in Anaheim California.  Each year about 16.2 million visitors go to this park, and over 650 million guest have visited since it started.  There are 8 themed lands inside the Disneyland Park.  These lands have different themes that reflect the settings of different rides, shops, and restaurants.

A day before visiting the Disneyland Park, we went for a quick visit to the Downtown Disney District.

It was my first time ever visiting the Disneyland theme park in California, I have visited the Disneyworld in Florida about 10 years ago.   I went on a Thursday, so I think the crowd was lesser than I would expect on a weekend.  The park opens at 8:00 a.m. (7:00 for those who purchased a 3 day pass), got there around 8:00 to have a full day at the park.

Fortunately, we got to see all of the 8 themed lands.  Here are some information and recommendation about the different lands.

1.  Main Street USA

I had such a great time visiting Disneyland, I think it was a good size to see for a full day visit.  I hope to visit again soon.  Next time, I would like to stay at one of the Disney hotels so I wouldn’t have to take shuttles.
