Cute brooches for sale at the market

A view from the top – lots of shop stalls

El Rastro de Madrid – Europe’s largest flea market, pretty much lots of different things here are for sale – clothing, antiques, art, household goods and more.  My family and I went here during our visit to Madrid, and I enjoyed it very much since I like shopping (especially for bargains).  This is definitely a good place to visit if you enjoy flea markets, note however it is only open during Sundays and holidays.

Another cute stand selling little cell phone charms and key chains

Floral tops at one of the shops

Boots for sale too!

Wall stickers decals – I actually got one of them (the cat with floral tree pattern) for 10 euros.

More info:

  • Only open during Sunday (or holidays) from 8:00 – 15:00
  • Address: Calle de la Ribera de Curtidores
  • Note:  Be careful of pickpockets
  • Get there early to avoid the crowd
