The trendy Estevao II Apartment – Dining/Kitchen area

For my trip to Lisbon, Portugal, I decided to travel and stay like a local at one of the apartments in Alfama (a historic neighborhood in Lisbon). This apartment is decorated with a cool tram 28 art and colorful art pieces which makes it quite trendy. Also, it is an ideal size for no more than two people, it is small but it has all the amenities you need.

I booked through – and I found it very easy to navigate the site and seeing the reviews of people who previously stayed also helped me choose this apartment. Wimdu has a wide range of accommodation available in Lisbon, and I picked this one because of the location (quick access to the central and metro). There are also lots of nearby cafes and restaurants that were recommended by the host.

Lisbon is actually one of the warmest of any European city. The winter months are quite mild and during the summer time the weather can get quite hot.

Alfama still has most of the remains of the ancient neighborhoods of Lisbon. When you visit Alfama, remember to bring your hiking shoes because it is very hilly. However, at the top of Alfama is the beautiful picturesque city view.

I had a wonderful stay here in Estevao II apartment. While the place is small it had all the amenities I need – kitchen, wifi, washer/dryer and a cable TV. You can read my review here at the Wimdu website. I highly recommend this place and Wimdu as well since they have a great selection of accommodations.
