Tuscany (Toscana in Italian) is a region in Italy that is rich in artistic culture and beautiful landscapes.  The capital of Tuscany is Florence, a popular tourist destination that draws over 1.68 million visitors yearly.  While Tuscany is in deed famous for its influential history of science and art, it also a region of delicious Italian food and wine (most famous Chianti).
