Four things to do in Prague

While there are tons of things to do around Prague.  What are the main things that you have got to do?  Here are 4 things to do while in Prague. These activities are definitely a great way to experience Prague in general without feeling that you have missed something.

1.  See the Astronomical Clock in the Old Town Square

This clock is one of the oldest astronomical clock in the world that’s still working, and every hour on the hour there’s a clock show.

2.  Visit the Prague Castle

While it may be quite a hike away from the Old Town Square, the Prague castle is a must visit.  It is like a small town located at the top of a hill which houses the St. Vitus Cathedral, Romanesque Basilica of St. George, other palaces and gardens, monastery and defense towers.

3.  Walk across the Charles Bridge

This is a very famous bridge in Prague that crosses the Vlata river.  The bridge was constructed in 1357 and it has around 30 statues.

4.  Go see the Wenceslas Square

The Wenceslas Square is a historical center located in the New Town of Prague.  This is where you can find shops, restaurants, hotels, etc.  It’s a place for shopping and hanging out.

    Wow. Prague! I really want to visit that place. There’s this book that I recently read, “daughter of smoke and bone”, and the setting is in Prague. ♥

    That Astronomical Clock is really interesting.

      Definitely, the clock looks so beautiful in person. And Prague is a city to visit in Europe I highly recommend it, the food is amazing too.
