Hello Kitty diner is a restaurant that has a cute retro American diner theme with of course, a Hello Kitty twist. The restaurant opened its doors to the public on November 1 (Hello Kitty’s birthday) 2015 in Sydney Australia. The diner serves American style food with Asian fusion, like french fries with Kimchi and other classic dishes. While there are other Hello Kitty restaurants around the world, this one has a very distinctive design (not too pink, but very trendy).
During my visit in Sydney, I went online to see if there were any Hello Kitty stores around the area, and to my surprise, the Hello Kitty diner showed up in the results. It was an easy train ride to get to the restaurant since it’s right above the Chatswood metro station. I was quite impressed with the design of the restaurant since it wasn’t the typical ‘overly cutesy’ Hello Kitty theme, rather it was modern, trendy and artsy.

The staffs were really friendly and helpful. The food was fantastic, I got the Lamb ribs, Kimchi fries and Hello Kitty soda. I would definitely go back again to this restaurant when I visit Sydney in the future. I do wish I tried their shakes, they looked really awesome.
