Japan Day (or Japan-tag) is a Japanese-German festival that is celebrated yearly, every May/June in Dusseldorf, Germany.  This event is held at Burgplatz along the Rhine promenade starting at 12:30 p.m.  There are tons of Japanese cultural booths which have activities going on – origami, Ikebana, Kimono dress up, mangas, traditional clothing/food stands and so much more.

One of the places I visited in Japan a while ago was Chiba, and I found their booth in Dusseldorf.  It’s their cute red dog mascot, Chiba-kun that caught my attention.
