Life in a day: Barcelona July 2013

Earlier this month, one of the places we visited was Barcelona! Our flight arrived in the morning around 10 a.m.  It was quite early so we decided to grab some pinchos – quite similar to tapas but with a stick (traditional snack in Northern Spain).  Then, we headed to our apartment/hotel in Jaume. The apartment/hotel location was perfect it was easy access to everything – Las Ramblas, St. Joseph Market, Barceloneta beach and awesome restaurants.

Since some of our friends haven’t arrived, we walked to the Barceloneta beach (which took only 10 minutes) and laid on the beach until the sunset.

I cannot put to words how much I love this city, the food, beach, people and the lifestyle.

Oh wow! Those pinchos look delicious. I’m totally craving a tomato, olive, and mozzarella salad now with a good drizzle of olive oil. Mmmmm. Looks like the start of a great trip; have fun!
