Miniatur Wunderland in Hamburg

Miniatur Wunderland Hamburg

The Miniatur Wunderland (or Miniature Wonderland in English) is an attraction in Hamburg that features the largest model railway in the world.  This model railway museum was founded in the year 2000 and built by the twin brothers Gerrit and Frederik Braun.

We found out about Miniatur Wunderland through TripAdvisor since it was the top recommended place to visit in Hamburg.  The Miniatur Wunderland spans on 3 floors each with different themes/structures.

When you enter Miniatur Wunderland, you will notice all the different ‘little’ figurines/structure details all around the museum.  Even the cafeteria has cool miniature figurines, and railway themes.  The main attractions are the different miniature-sized ‘countries/locations’.  You can find a mini version of the Neuschwanstein castle, Switzerland, airports, and many others.

Review:

It is definitely a fun place to visit.  I would say its very cool and amusing to look at the different little structures and destinations.  My favorite was the Las Vegas strip, it looked so much a like the real buildings.
