One of the fun things to do while in Lisbon is to visit the largest indoor aquarium in Europe, which is Oceanarium. Opened in 1998, this aquarium gets over one million visits each year. The exterior design has been said to resemble an aircraft carrier. This aquarium is so large they practically named it ‘Ocean-arium’. It holds large amount of marine species collection from birds, fish, mammals and other species. The day that I went to visit was a Sunday, the line was fairly long but the wait was less than 30 minutes. The price for an adult 13 – 64 years old is 16 euros (for the combined ticket including Permanent Exhibit and Temporary Exhibit). Check out the ticketing price below on ‘more info’.
