Photoblog: Lisbon Pastries

A variety of Portuguese Pastries!

A variety of Portuguese Pastries!

This blog is going to be a somewhat photoblog featuring photos of Portuguese pastries.  If you haven’t tried their pastries, then you’re missing out.  The most famous pastry (from what I have read online) is the Pastel de Nata, Egg tart Pastry.  This pastry has a flaky shell and custard filling inside.  And it is believed that it was created by the Catholic monks of Santa Maria de Belem.  So, if you’re in town check out the Pasteis de Belem shop.  Now, onto more pastry photos:

Well, I hope that you have enjoyed the Lisbon Pastry photos!  The good thing too is that these are quite inexpensive and very delicious.  I want to go back to Lisbon just for the Pasteliera.
