The Downtown Disney is a promenade that has shops, cafes, restaurants, and other fun outdoor entertainment. Popular shops include: World of Disney, LEGO store, D-Street, and many others.
While in the Los Angeles area, one of the places I have been wanting to visit was of course, Disneyland. I have only visited one Disney park and it was the Disneyworld in Florida (which was 10 years ago), and I still want to see the other Disneyland parks around the world (like Paris, Hong Kong, and Tokyo). FYI, I’m a huge fan of Disney movies so going to these amusement parks are a must for me.
Before visiting the actual Disneyland amusement park, we went to see the Downtown Disney district. It was a bit late in the afternoon already when we got near the Disney area, so we decided to just visit the Downtown District. And go to Disneyland amusement park the next day to have a full day.
We took a shuttle to get into the Disney area (from our hotel). When we arrived, we haven’t purchased our tickets yet but going into the Downtown Disney is free – so no tickets necessary. It’s a fun place to go shopping, and just walk around. I think you can go around the entire area in less than 2-3 hours.
Here are some photos from my quick visit:
