The Renaissance hotel is a luxury hotel located in Lucca, Italy. It is a an ideal location for those traveling to Lucca, Barga, Pisa and Florence. The hotel itself is somewhat at the top of a mountain, so its a fun drive going up the road.
Inside the hotel is well-decorated with a mix of contemporary and modern furniture and art – circular spiral tables, woven lighted backgrounds, and other silver decors.
When I arrived at the resort, I didn’t realize the hotel was actually at the top. It took about an extra 10 minutes from the base to reach the hotel. The hotel staffs are very friendly and knows lots about the area – so you can ask them for places to visit, tours, restaurants or any recommendations.
There are also small boutique stores around the resort anywhere from vintage to art stores. I saw a cool vintage Louis Vuitton duffel bag, unique art works and fancy scarves.
The room where I stayed at had awesome views of the mountains. Also, I think most of the rooms have small balconies.
The cost per night when I stayed was about 108 euros per night. It was quite a deal considering this hotel is very luxurious.
