A sunny day in the southernmost part of Gibraltar at the Europa Point Lighthouse.  Between 1838 – 1841, the lighthouse was built by Governor Sir Alexander Woodford.  This lighthouse was first lit in 1841.  It wasn’t until 1994 that the automation of the lighthouse was completed.

During our van tour in Gibraltar, the Europa Point was one of the stops.  In this location you can see the lighthouse, Sikorski memorial, Shrine of our Lady of Europe, and the Mosque.  My group took photos around the area, and I took a quick photo of my traveling toys.

Have you been to Gibraltar before?
