Travel Highlights: Singapore

Singapore Travel

Singapore was one of the places my family and I visited during our South East Asia Trip.  I have always wanted to visit this country, many of my friends that have visited before told me about the cleanliness, modern structures, and marvelous buildings.  And they were right, this country has so many wonderful modern buildings and structures that were just amazing.  My family and I had a great time going around the city, and visiting some of our friends and family.  During our visit, it was really hot, so we didn’t really get a chance to go around during the day time but at night the temperature was much better.  We got to see many of the iconic landmarks within two days.

Where we stayed?

We stayed at the BIG hotel Singapore.  This hotel is located near the Orchard road and Bugis street, places famous for shopping.  It has a very modern design and amenities.

What we did?

Many of the famous landmarks can be found near the Marina Bay Sands.  We got to see the water show, Helix Bridge, Gardens by the bay, Bugis Street, Charlie Brown cafe and many others.

What we ate?

We tried tons of different food in Singapore, my favorite is the Chicken Rice.  It has a light chicken flavor with steamed rice.

I love the Marina Bay Sands area too- and the shopping- to die for! Did you go to Au Chocolat ice cream/chocolate shop? Their mascot is a French Bulldog- very cute.

Marina Bay Sands hotel is so grand and beautiful. I wish I had more time to visit the city. I didn’t get a chance to go to the Au Chocolat shop. Maybe next time, thanks for the info!
