A visit to Alice in a Dancing Land Restaurant

Alice in a Dancing Land

Since it was my last day in Tokyo, and I was staying in Shibuya, I decided to visit the Alice in a Dancing Land Restaurant.  The restaurant is about 3-5 minute walk from the famous crossing, and its located right around the Loft store (it’s inside the green building).  From the outside of the building you can see the Alice banners and decoration, and the actual restaurant is at the basement.

There are 6 Alice in Wonderland themed restaurants in Japan (5 in Tokyo, 1 in Osaka).  All of these restaurants are part of the Diamond Restaurants in Japan.

When I went inside the building, I noticed to the right, stairs leading to the basement.  At the bottom of the stairs you will see an Ace of Hearts soldier figure wearing an armor.  And more steps going down afterwards.

The theme of Alice in a Dancing Land has a carnival design.  In the main attraction is the huge carousel dining area adorned with lights and chandeliers.  The restaurant is small, the max capacity is 95 seats.  However, the design is very magical and wonderland-like.

Review:

I didn’t really get a chance to try out their food, I just went for a quick visit to see the decorations.  Definitely next time, I will try out this place.  The staffs were very nice, I asked them if I can just take photos of the restaurant, and they were ok with it.
