Plaza de Cibeles (square) in Madrid Spain

Madrid is a very lively city and its quite famous for its great night life but it also has wonderful things to do.  Earlier this year when I visited Madrid, one of the toughest things for me to find is a place to stay.  While there may be lots of Hotels in Madrid nothing beats a good researching before hand.  Here are some suggestions that may benefit you when choosing a place to stay.

1.  Hotel Preciados.  A boutique 4 star hotel located in Calle Preciados, the main shopping street in Madrid.  This hotel has a free mini bar and wifi in all of their rooms.

2.  The Westin Palace Madrid.  This hotel has been a landmark in Madrid since 1912 located in Plaza de las Cortes.  This year marks their 100 years in history.  Each room is beautifully decorated and some of the rooms have a view of the Neptune fountain.

3.  Melia Madrid Princesa.  A luxurious hotel with a trendy flair.  This hotel is a few minutes from Plaza Mayor, Reina Sofia Museum and Puerta del Sol.  A great choice for those who would like to enjoy the nightlife in Madrid.

Visiting Madrid is a must for those who love the Spanish lifestyle and food.  This city has so much to offer, you’ll want to stay here for quite a while.

So far I have only been in Madrid and Mallorca but these two are my favorite places to revisit again and again. I just love the Spanish food and culture.
